Specialist Support for Betrayal Trauma, Relational Recovery, and Personal Healing

When betrayal, broken trust, or relational injury changes the ground beneath you, it can be difficult to know where to begin.

You may be trying to understand what happened, what is true, what you need, whether repair is possible, or how to begin feeling like yourself again.

In our work together, I offer a steady, trauma-informed space to help you slow the chaos, make sense of your responses, rebuild safety and self-trust, clarify boundaries, and take the next honest step toward recovery.

You do not need to have all the answers before you begin.

Betrayal Trauma and Partner Recovery

This is the heart of my specialist work.

Betrayal can fracture more than trust in a relationship. It can affect your sense of safety, reality, identity, body, attachment, boundaries, and ability to trust your own knowing.

Partner recovery work offers a trauma-informed space to understand the impact of betrayal, stabilise the overwhelm, make sense of trauma responses, and begin rebuilding safety and self-trust.

This work may support you if you are navigating the shock of discovery, infidelity, sexual betrayal, secrecy, deception, gaslighting, broken trust, or the painful confusion of not knowing what comes next.

You will not be rushed into forgiveness, repair, reconciliation, or decisions before you are ready.

We begin with safety, truth, grounding, and your right to understand what has happened to you.

Couples and Relational Recovery

When both partners are willing and it is clinically appropriate, relational recovery may support couples trying to understand whether and how repair is possible after betrayal, secrecy, rupture, or broken trust.

This work is not about quickly moving on, improving communication, or restoring the relationship at any cost.

It is about creating conditions for safety, accountability, impact, empathy, transparency, boundaries, and repair over time.

In couples work, boundaries are not used as threats or punishments. They become part of the safety structure needed for healing: agreements, follow-through, truth-telling, emotional containment, and repair behaviours that can be observed over time.

Relational recovery is paced carefully. The betrayed partner’s safety and reality are not bypassed, and the work requires honesty, responsibility, and willingness to engage with the harm that has occurred.

Individual Therapy

I also work with individuals seeking psychological support for anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, stress, self-worth, identity, life transitions, body image concerns, self-harm concerns, grief, personal growth, and relationship patterns.

Individual therapy offers a steady, confidential space to understand yourself more deeply, strengthen emotional regulation, explore coping patterns, and build greater clarity, resilience, and self-trust.

In our work together, we may explore your inner world, emotional responses, relationships, values, choices, and the parts of your life where you may be seeking more steadiness, agency, and care.

This pathway does not need to begin with betrayal trauma or relational rupture. It is for individuals seeking support for their own healing, growth, and wellbeing.

A Note on Fit and Safety

This is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or at risk of harming yourself or someone else, please contact your local emergency services or crisis support service. Therapeutic work is offered based on clinical fit, availability, and appropriateness of care. Where another form of support would better meet your needs, this will be discussed with care and honesty.
